People of the NEW

"...I am making all things new..."

We are People of the New!  The results of the work of Jesus is that the old has passed away and a new creation has come forth.  Jesus brought forth a
  • New Day
  • New Order
  • New Creation
  • New Jerusalem

We can see in Genesis 1 that God created light and call it Day.  A "Day" speaks to us of "light".  Jesus brought a new Day, a new Light.  He brought things to light.  His work revealed things, exposed things, evaluated things, and eliminated things.  There is a lot to be discussed in that, but we can state here that Jesus revealed God and His Kingdom (John 10:30).  He exposed the inadequacy of the old covenant
(Heb 8:6-7).  He evaluated the condition of Israel (John 12:48), and He eliminated the Old Covenant (Heb 8:13).  The work of Jesus has brought about the New (Rev 21:5)

He brought about a new Order that the righteous shall live by faith (Rom 1:17).  We are no longer living in a system of sacrifices to cover over sin, but we are in the order of grace that provides the removal and atonement of sin.  Jesus brought a new order that no longer has 1 man set up to go into God's presence once a year, but now we all have access to the Father through the Door, Jesus.  This new order allows mankind to be part of His Kingdom and be those that embrace His Kingdom ways that leads to the fullness of life and abundance.

We are a New Creation (II Cor 5:17).  Jesus has made the way for our lives to be a new creation through the salvation He provided for us to be part of His covenant.  Yet, another new creation came through His work. The cross, resurrection, ascension, and out pouring of the Holy Spirit brought forth a New Corporate Man in the earth - the Church / Ecclesia.  Redemptive history reveals God started His work through a man, Adam.  It progressed to a family, Noah.  It continued in a people, Hebrews, and expanded to a nation, Israel.  God's goal was not just to have a man, a family, a people, or just a nation.  He desires every tongue, every tribe, every nation.  He wants it all!  Now, through Christ, redemption continues its progress through the Church, the universal corporate Man in the earth - a new "man".  A new creation came forth that would be those of every nation, every race, every generation that are the ministers of reconciliation (Acts 1:8 / II Cor 5:18).

This has been the plan all along as the work of Jesus would bring forth a People of the New, a New Jerusalem (Rev 21).  We are those that are His holy city, habitation, dwelling.  We are His city, His Bride.  Jerusalem is a capital city; the seat of authority, governing, legislation, ruling.  Bride - the covenant partner of love and intimacy.  His covenant ones are the governing ones in the earth.  We are His representatives, His ambassadors, His legislating body to be part of His mission to remove the works of the devil.  Jesus brought forth His New Jerusalem when He ascended and released His Church through the infilling of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8 / 2:15).  WE are those living in the era of the Poured-Out-Spirit (Joel 2:28).  Peter announced on the Day of Pentecost that we are now in the days Joel prophecied.  The Spirit has been poured out and the generations are now one with Him to bring forth the NEW in all parts of live and culture.

This is the moment that generations are to rise and be a People of the New to impart and bring forth the NEW that is provided through the work of Jesus!

The generations must live in the New Day and New Order as the New Creation and New Jerusalem to synergistically bring forth the fullness Christ has provided.  We are a People of the New!
